| Abstract / Scope |
This standard specifies requirements to qualify a product as a premium product within designated categories. It applies to products that fulfil applicable regulatory and safety requirements and are positioned in the upper segment of the market based on criteria such as, but not limited to, product performance, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), reliability, durability, environmental and sustainability, security and advanced features.
This standard covers but is not restricted to the following categories;
a) consumer electrical and electronics equipment;
b) Information and communication technology (ICT) and telecommunication equipment; and
c) construction materials and construction parts, components and accessories. |
